Fused Glass Beach Heart Suncatcher. Infused with sand from Whitley Bay Beach

Bring a bit of Whitley Bay beach home with you. 

A dazzling fused glass suncatcher, made into a heart shape, infused with real sand from Whitley Bay beach. 

This particular item was made completely by hand. The glass was cut into a heart shape, covered in different shades of glass powders, frit and gold flakes and a sprinkling of sand from Whitley Bay beach. The piece was then capped in clear glass, fired in a kiln up to 860°c and left to cool slowly. 

A hole has been drilled and a ribbon placed for easy and safe display. 

Each item is completely hand made, therefore no two items will be identical - making each suncatcher completely unique 💙
