Fused Glass Workshop @ For The Love Of The North - Thurs 12th March 2026, 18:00 - 20:00

Come and join us for an evening of Fused Glass creation where you will make your own fused glass art completely from scratch. 

We will be hosting our very first workshop of 2026

Location: For The Love Of The North, Unit 2, Spanish City Plaza, Whitley Bay NE26 1BG

Date: Thursday 12th March 2026

Time: 18:00 - 20:00

Each guest will be given a sheet of glass to create their very own fused glass suncatchers. 

You will be expertly guided throughout the session to learn

✨️How to cut your own glass

✨️How to use different glass materials, paints and techniques to achieve different effects. 

Kate will talk you through every step, demonstrating throughout the session. She will talk you through each of the materials, and explain how the firing schedules will work so make sure you achieve your desired result.

Each sheet of glass is 15cm x 15cm, and should allow you to make 2 - 3 suncatchers depending on what size you decide to cut. 

Everyone over the age of 10 is welcome to attend the workshops.
